Hello Sailing Friends, We are excited to announce the strategic partnership of Charisma Sailing and Miami Yacht Club for a new US Sailing Adult Instructional Center with sailing lessons, courses, and certifications for prospective and existing members, as well as the greater Miami community. This partnership will combine the strengths of both of our organizations. Charisma Sailing will manage and operate the new sailing base as an US Sailing accredited keelboat school with US Sailing certified instructors. Miami Yacht Club represents an historically established and respected organization with exceptionally successful sailing programs in an attractive, central location. Together, we will provide a long awaited solution that satisfies the interests of the entire South Florida sailing community. CLICK HERE TO RSVP FOR THE KICKOFF EVENT About Miami Yacht Club Miami Yacht Club, on Watson Island between Downtown Miami, Edgewater, and South Beach, has been actively working with the community for over 80 years to foster an appreciation in the beautiful waters of Miami. The spacious club grounds on Miami’s Biscayne Bay offer a popular restaurant on the covered outdoor patio, a cozy bar, and a pool, all overlooking the shallow beach that is the perfect location to safely explore dinghy and small catamaran sailing. The docks and classroom are ideal for the new Adult Instructional Center to teach keelboat sailing and develop advanced sailing skills. The Miami Yacht Club Youth Sailing Foundation is an incubator for dinghy and catamaran racing up to foiling platforms and their sailors have represented the Miami Yacht Club all over the world: from youth events to the 2024 Olympics. The efforts of their internationally recognized coaches, dedicated sailors and MYC families made them the “Home of Sailing Champions!” The new US Sailing Adult Instructional Center is expanding the prior programming and sailing options to increase member and community access to sailing courses and certifications of all levels that are following the highly regarded US Sailing teaching and certification system.
