This Giving Tuesday, the Charisma Sailing team is asking to support our mission with help to restore our donated 26-foot Catalina Capri “Amigo” to her prior beauty.

This beautiful little sailboat would be the perfect addition to our fleet, both for sailing lessons and our youth program, but also to provide an opportunity for Miami residents to rent a safe and well-maintained monohull for day-sails on Biscayne Bay.

With space for up to 6 sailors and equipped with a roomy cabin, head (toilet), and running water; she will keep you and your gear dry even during one of the frequent summer rains.

However, at this point, Amigo needs more than just some elbow grease to ready her for her next sailing adventure, including these repairs and upgrades:

• New environmentally-friendly electric motor

• Complete replacement of electric wiring

• New batteries

• Fiberglass repairs

• Wood refinishing

• Sails & Sailbag

• Bimini top
