US SAILING Basic Keelboat Courses

  • Learn to sail a 20’ to 26-foot keelboat with tiller under the guidance of the successful US Sailing teaching program and highly qualified professional instructors.

    At the completion of the course, you will be able to confidently sail a smaller keelboat on inland waters in calm conditions.

  • 4 Days:

    2 Consecutive Weekends or 4 Consecutive Week Days

  • Learn to sail and earn your US Sailing Basic Keelboat certification in Miami or Key West!

  • All-inclusive course rate of $1450 per person includes all course and certification fees, with US Sailing Certification Package of online prep-course, digital textbook, certification tests (practical & written exams), logbook, and 1-year US Sailing membership.

US SAILING Basic & Bareboat Cruising Courses

  • Once you have your Keelboat certification completed, your next step will be to learn how to sail a larger cruising monohull in bluewater and more challenging sailing conditions and work on your docking skills.

    We are offering an accelerated program during which you can achieve both the US Sailing Basic Cruising and Bareboat Cruising certifications.

    Once you passed the practical and written certification tests, you are ready to apply for your International Proficiency Certificate (IPC) for chartering monohulls in the beautiful cruising areas of the Mediterranean.

  • 5 Consecutive Days

  • The US Sailing Cruising Courses are currently offered at our Key West base.

  • 5-Day Accelerated Basic Cruising & Bareboat Cruising Course:

    All-inclusive rate of $3250 per person, includes all course snd certification fees, with US Sailing Certification Package of 2 digital textbooks, certification tests (practical & written exams), and logbook sticker.

US SAILING Sailing Catamaran Courses

  • With your US Sailing Basic Keelboat, Basic Cruising and Bareboat Cruising certifications completed, you are ready to register for the optional Catamaran Cruising course and certification.

    Once you passed the certification test, you are ready to apply for your International Proficiency Certificate (IPC) for catamarans.

    If you are US Sailing Basic Cruising certified, you can complete your Bareboat certification completely on the catamaran.

  • Our catamaran certification courses are currently offered at our Key West base.
